Dev and Beta Channels Update for Chromebooks

The Beta channel has been updated to 18.0.1025.98 (Platform versions: 1660.84.0) for Chromebooks (Acer AC700, Samsung Series 5, and Cr-48). 

The Dev channel has been updated to the same version 18.0.1025.98 (Platform version 1660.84.0) for Cr-48 Chromebooks.
This build contains a number of stability improvements. Some highlights of these changes are:
  • Fixes to 15753 & 25971 where Flash content on pages was causing tabs to freeze.
  • Wifi improvements

Not loving this version. Seems like all the existing bugs have only gotten worse. Namely sound and flash dying almost immediately.

Not sure the details of the WiFi enhancements, but it's working great for me! My home wireless network has a hidden SSID, that requests not to be mapped, MAC address filtering, and WPA. Before, connecting was an exercise in frustration. After performing this update, the network is found and connected to almost immediately, just as expected. Thanks Chrome OS team!
