The Beta channel has been updated to 29.0.1547.32 (Platform version: 4319.32.0) for all Chrome OS devices. This build contains a number of bug fixes, security updates and feature enhancements. Systems will be receiving updates over the next several days.
Some highlights of these changes are:
Kernel 3.8 landed on Pixel and Samsung 550.
New “immersive” mode - hit the fullscreen button to hide the toolbar and shelf and until you hover at the top for a more immersive browsing experience
Pin apps to the shelf using Drag and Drop from the Launcher
Consumer Kiosk Mode allows you to build your own Chrome OS powered kiosk
Default wallpaper selection will sync across all your devices
Monitor Scaling allows you to scale the UI
Two-finger history navigation
App launcher Search just got cleverer
It will dynamically learn what you search for
Apps are more prominent
It will search within the web store if no matching app is installed

The Stable channel has been updated to 28.0.1500.68 for all Chrome OS devices (Platform version: 4100.68.0 for all devices except Cr-48, which was updated to 4100.78.0). This build contains a number of feature enhancements, bug fixes and security improvements. Machines will be receiving updates over the next several days.
Release Highlights:
Numerous crash fixes and performance improvements.
Speed improvements for the Files app, along with support for files that are Shared with me and Recent on Google Drive.
Monitor Rotation and Scaling - you can scale your UI smaller and rotate the screen on all Chromebooks.
Notification pop-up message appears when screenshots are taken. Clicking on the notification will bring you right to the screenshot.
Replaced the Japanese IME with a NaCl extension version downloads a better language model upon actual usage.
Added transliteration IMEs for Indic languages from Google Input Tools.
Touch link highlighting on Chromebook Pixel - we now provide feedback on which link you click or button you press.
Updated Chrome Office Viewer (Beta) extension
Pepper Flash updated to 11.8.800.94
Known issues:
On Acer C7 Chromebooks, docked mode has been disabled when connecting to an external monitor.

Google Translate - When reading web pages in other languages, Chrome will automatically detect and offer to translate them to your language
Fullscreen on tablets - Similar to phones, simply scroll down the page and the toolbar will disappear.
New user interface for right-to-left (RTL) languages - An optimized interface for RTL languages including Arabic, Farsi, and Hebrew
