Does this version contain mitigations for Meltdown/Spectre/speculative-side-channel vulnerabilities as promised (see https://www.chromium.org/Home/chromium-security/ssca )? I can't see any evidence of mitigations in the log. Thanks

Also curious about whether this will address Meltdown/Spectre.

For those curious about Meltdown / Spectre related changes... they're not in the log because security fixes are filtered out, for a variety of reasons.

Thanks @miniwrld , that makes sense. But I was expecting the post itself to explain whether the Spectre changes are in this release or not, given the earlier promise to include them.

Spectre is mitigated by Chrome 64. See commits c64562284846860a4daaff9659a442f3ad1187a6 (Add 1ms pseudorandom jitter to date timestamp) and 953bf5bfd1957a9c6c123d8dfc59254dcd7bb956 (Clamp performance.now() to 100us).

Does anyone know if this update changed some font setting? When I logged in this morning on my Linux box, the font used in Gmail had changed!

The latest update [64.0.3282.119 (Official Build) (64bit)] logs out all sites like Twitter, DeviantArt, Gmail, etc. when I leave the browser (by the way, I'm not the only one)

Some Javascript in Salesforce stopped running after this update.
In other browsers this still works, so it has to be this update

I am not able to have an accurate location. If i try to Set time zone automatically using my location under advanced. It goes to Los Angeles time. As i live in Hendersonville NC. I have to make sure that part is turned off and manually scroll down to pick my location. Even after doing that. My local google news says my location is in Montebello. Even after adding my correction location and adding in Hendersonville NC. I still have to see Montebello in my local then have to click on Hendersonville NC. Very annoying....Please FIX.

My google chrome browser keeps freezing up and crashing. It seems to crash when I click on the X to close a page. It is a random thing but happens often enough to be really frustrating.

From what I understand, Chrome 64 includes protect for side channel attacks (Meltdown/Spectre).

Does this mean that the previously recommended "Strict Site Isolation" flag no longer needs to be manually set, or is this a different mitigation?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wonder if the default value of the CSS display: inline-block property has changed.
Until the update, only normal layout styles have changed to inline-block properties.
Only chrome is looking for the cause. Other browsers are operating normally.
Has the default margin value for inline-block been increased or changed other attributes?

I'm still facing problems using Dynamics CRM 2015 and Code-k Connector and some other sites.
Texts in multi-line fields are invisible and for some sites a window is displayed asking for network connection even when you are already in.
