You mean "The Chrome Team is excited to announce the beta release of Chrome 38 for Android" - not "36".

Please bring back one touch access to the refresh button or some equivalent gesture.

I agree, the refresh button is much needed.

Start by touching the menu button. Move your finger in a clockwise motion (mimicking the pattern on the refresh icon). Release when touching the refresh button. After a few trials, this gesture works perfectly and I no longer feel the need for a refresh button outside of the menu. Thanks!

Autofill has started to drop the first letter of words. This happened on a board that runs old pHp and on this comment here, but I could not duplicate it using mainline Chrome.

I totally agree with the removal of the refresh button from the omnibox - its a complete pain.

Far, far worse however is that they still haven't reinstated the "Find in page " magnifying glass in the box. Google may well want to go down the minimilist route but that took up ZERO real estate. Fantastically useful feature and I just don't get it, but at least the open tab numbers in the window box reappeared in the last update.
